Postal Design Leigh on Sea
Address: West Point Road, Leigh on Sea, Essex
Client: Stuart Jailor
Status: Completed 2015
Project Description: Postal Garden Design, Contemporary Garden
Leigh on Sea is a traditional seaside town with a quaint high street with many unique shops, our brief called for a design that overcame the sloping gradient of the garden. The house was originally two flats and was undergoing a comprehensive restoration to make the property a single five bedroomed house.
The garden had originally been split down the middle and had two very different layouts these were to be rejoined and have a contemporary garden imposed upon the site using rendered walls and sawn sandstone paving. The design was to include water features and pleached trees to provide privacy from a tall development at the end of the garden, the sea could be glimpsed looking back down the side alleyway.

The client provided photographs and notes about the site along with architects drawings and a digital survey from which the design was developed.

Turn Your Dream Into A Reality
Gardens are never finished they change with the seasons and plants continue to grow and change. A garden design will provide you with the ultimate concept to work towards, however not all gardens can be afforded in one go, so to complete the final garden may take several years, this will be dependent on your budget and time frame.
It is, however, possible to have a garden designed so that it can be built by the contractor in phases. In this way, a section can be completed and enjoyed, whilst the next phase is completed sometime in the near future.
